Kathleen Joyce is happily married to a delightful man for more years than she ever thought possible in her twenties. She is a mother and grandmother of perfect children, and two slightly neurotic dogs. Her life has been filled with travel along smooth and sometimes bumpy roads. These roads have taken her to all four corners of this great country during her husband’s naval career. Her experiences and travel have given her rich fodder for her books. She draws on the wonderful friends she has known, and a few who are as neurotic as her dogs, when writing. If she isn’t writing, she loves digging in the dirt, reading, pottery, and sewing. She owned a home furnishings store and worked for twenty-plus years as an interior decorator. She has also lived in the middle of an avocado grove in California. Kathleen does make a scrumptious guacamole. Laughing and spending time with family and friends are important to her, as are making new friends. Kathleen’s mother introduced her to Agatha Christie when she was young, and she was hooked on whodunits.
